The next meeting of the Mandalong Book Club will be on the coming Tuesday 7 May at 7.30 pm at Mandy Allen's home at 120 Tobins Rd Mandalong.

The book we will be discussing will be The Dressmaker by Australian author Rosalie Ham. It is set in a small country town in the 1950's which is populated by a quirky collection of characters and is about their interactions with each other. If you are interested in clothes and fabrics, there are very colourful descriptions. There is talk of it being made into a film. The scene may be familiar to many of us and should promote lively discussion on how much things have changed since then. We would love to see you all there for an enjoyable time over wine, cheese and coffee.
