Native Species

We are privileged to share our environment with an extensive range of native species including:

  • bandicoots
  • brush-tailed possums
  • gliding possums
  • spotted- tailed quolls
  • antechinuses

Many wonderful birds such as:

  • wedge-tailed eagles
  • lyre birds
  • brush turkeys
  • kookaburras
  • kingfishers
  • bower birds
  • cockatoos
  • lorikeets
  • rosellas

And many other Australian native animals, fresh-water turtles, fish, reptiles and frogs.

Native animals are protected in NSW by the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. It is illegal to harm them without an authority or defence under the legislation.
